Overnight travelers on the Montour Trail...
... can take advantage of campsites located at the Cecil Henderson Road (Kurnick) access area, around trail mile 25½. Five primitive campsites are available for use by trail users passing through the area. Campsites are located on the southern side of the trail 50 to 150 yards south of the drinking fountain.
Campsites are for overnight use only, and include:
- Five sites
- Water fountain nearby (in season)
- Portable toilet nearby (in season)
- Picnic table and campfire ring at each site
- Sites are mulched with wood chips
Reservations are not necessary, and there is no charge for using the sites. Campers must obey the Trail rules.
