Status of TEA 21 Project -- Phase I
(McDonald Trestle Bridge to Chartiers Creek)
In early August the design drawings were approved and now the completion of all of the construction documents (drawings, specifications and contract conditions) is expected in mid-September. PADOT approval of these documents ought to be given by late October. Advertising for bids then could occur in early November and receipt of bids in mid-December.
With the award of a construction contract for Phase 1 in early January, construction should actually start in late February.
