Description: This trail gap at Georgetown Road is located about ¼ mile east of Hendersonville. Installation of a new bridge at this location is planned, and trail users will no longer have to cross this public road.

History:
- November 2006: Preliminary design completed
- Dececember 2007: DCNR grant received for $173,000 for further development of the Montour Trail including development of drawings, specifications, and related documents that will facilitate the bidding and construction of the Morganza and Georgetown bridges
- Novvember 2008: Final Engineering Design Final engineering design is expected to continue through winter 2008/2009 and finish in late summer of 2009. Contingent upon securing some additional funding, bridge construction will start soon after completion of the design.
